WASHINGTON, D.C. — Silverado Policy Accelerator and Principal to Principal’s Global Supply Chain Task Force are hosting a half-day forum with senior government and industry executives on Tuesday, December 13th focused on the challenges and opportunities within the Western Hemisphere to secure resilient critical mineral supply chains. These supply chains underpin economic and national security objectives in the region, including development and production of clean technology like electric vehicles and advanced technologies including semiconductors.

Additional details: The forum will feature two open-press and on-the-record panel discussions exploring public and private-sector perspectives on actionable steps that can be taken to facilitate more production, trade, and investment in the critical minerals sector in the Western Hemisphere.
The first panel will feature senior U.S. government officials, policy experts, and representatives from other regional governments discussing public efforts to deepen critical mineral supply chains.
The second panel will feature senior executives from several major corporations that are involved in the production or consumption of critical minerals and who will discuss private-sector efforts to promote more resilient supply chains and explore future opportunities for public-private partnerships.
The panel discussions will be followed by solution-oriented break-out sessions with government,
private sector, and subject matter experts to be held under Chatham House Rules.
