2024 will be a year of conversations centered around America’s economic security as national security.

Principal to Principal (P2P) was founded in the fall of 2013 with the goal of nurturing  timely conversations, strengthening important relationships, and establishing  common ground under a shared value: deep-rooted commitment to our nation’s  future and prosperity. Never has this goal been more important than today or in  today’s environment.  

As a global collective, the private sector plays a leading role in the development  of international communities and improving standards of living across the world.  P2P established the Global Forum at the outset of 2018 to engage the private  sector as we confront challenges emerging from the world’s changing social,  political, and economic landscapes. 

Organizations looking to stimulate positive change worldwide understand the  importance of international corporate citizenship and diplomacy. The Global  Forum provides a truly unique opportunity for international corporate decision makers in Washington to engage with Members of Congress, ambassadors, and  key staff in a private, bipartisan setting. 

Global Forum discussions aim to bridge the real and perceived gaps spanning  Washington’s political, diplomatic, private, and social factions in an environment  conducive to outcomes. Members of Congress, diplomats, and key congressional  staff will attend each Global Forum as special guests. 

Bringing international leaders and subject matter experts together around one table in an off-the-record, intimate setting is essential to fostering constructive  conversations about pressing issues in our world. Principal to Principal seeks to be  a convener whose engagement is personal, substantive, and demonstrably  worthwhile to all who participate. 

The Global Forum meets five times annually with membership limited to 20 senior  business executives, including DC heads of office, to ensure members and guests  are always seated at one table. All Global Forums abide by the Chatham House  Rule and are not open to media.
