Kristi Rogers speaks to Firefighters on the Anniversary of 9/11

Yesterday, I had the incredible privilege of speaking to a group of true heroes—our nation’s firefighters—on the solemn anniversary of 9/11. Standing before these brave men and women, I was deeply humbled by their unwavering commitment to protecting our communities, no matter the cost.

As I spoke, I was reminded of the courage that has defined our firefighters for generations, especially on that fateful day 23 years ago. My message was simple: we must never forget the sacrifices made, and we must continue to honor those who put their lives on the line for us. In the face of unimaginable danger, these firefighters embody the very best of us—selflessness, bravery, and an unbreakable bond of unity.

To all the firefighters who serve with such dedication and courage, thank you. Your work is a constant reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope. I am truly inspired by each of you.
